Alleging that justice has been toppled in Kerala, Kummanam said that CPM has taken law into their hands. “Bharatiya Janata Party wants truce and peaceful existence. Right now, CPM activists all over Kerala are picking out NDA members and supporters and unleashing terror on them. Most of their properties are being destroyed. Many such instances are taking place happening in the Chief Minister’s own native place'” said Kummanam Rajashekharan adding that these acts of destruction and terrorising are nothing but despicable, ruthless and contemptuous.

Pointing out how these attacks, executed even before Pinarayi Vijayan officially took over charge as Chief Minister, reveal the new government’s true intentions. “When Pinarayi Vijayan declares that his government is for all sections of people, does it mean that the natives of Pinarayi including his relatives stand excluded? How can a man, incapable of safeguarding the human rights of his own relatives and those of his native place, ensure that the human rights of an entire state stand secure?” he sought to know.

Highlighting that the violence unleashed by Marxist clan is solely the result of their deep rooted anxiety following the NDA government’s ascension to power. “In Pinarayi alone, 17 vehicles, 27 homes stand destroyed. 27 karyakartas of Sangh Parivar stand grievously wounded, in fact a total loss of 2 Crore for Kerala’s Sangh Parivar,” said Kummanam exhorting those of media world to expose to the outside world, the breach of human rights being indulged in by CPM. “It has been a week since the attacks have taken place. But the police have not been able to nab even a single culprit or prepare a FIR! The police are in fact supporting the activities of those in power.”

Replying to the queries put forth by media persons, Kummanam said that the Chief Minister should take initiatives to broker peace and that the state government should be prepared to give compensations for those who have suffered major loss.
