Mr.Santosh, the Message column is not sufficient to hold this reply, hence I am separately sending this article.

This love for Mother Mary, is it a realistic portrayal ?  Consider this:  Bible says when God created all animals he made male and female together. But when he created Adam, he created him alone, and, much later,  to cure his boredom, from his ribs created eve. Why this discrimination ?

“For man did not come from woman, but woman from man: neither was man created for woman, but for man. Corinthians 11:9, 10.

Calvin declared “Women is more guilty than man, because she was seduced by Satan”.

Eve was punished by God “I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing” Genesis 3:16

“WHEN A WOMAN HAS HER REGULAR FLOW OF BLOOD, THE IMPURITY OF HER MONTHLY PERIOD WILL LAST SEVEN DAYS, HE WHO TOUCHES HER WILL BE UNCLEAN, IF A MAN LIES WITH HER AND HER MONTHLY FLOW TOUCHES HIM HE WILL BE UNCLEAN FOR SEVEN DAYS…”lEVITICUS 15:19 – 32.

The words “whore” and “harlot” are frequently used in the bible to describe women.

Virginity is prized. “If however the charge is true and no proof of the girl’s virginity can be found, she shall be brought to her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death” Deuteronomy 22:13-21

The Bible emphasises women’s uncleanness after childbirth and that all are born sinful. Even Mary had to make a sin offering after the birth of Jesus.

Luke
2:22 Mary must be purified after birth of Jesus.
2:49 Jesus rebukes his mother

What is this sin offering ? She is to bring two doves or two pigeons, as a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her and she will be cleansed  12: 1-8. The practice of releasing doves and pigeons are from this custom. What is done during sports meet etc is a christian custom.

I have given a few gems only for readers to understand how such people are attacking Hinduism ? What double standards ? People like Santosh, Sajy etc who ridicule their ancestral religion think that we are ignorant about their imported religion and the double standards that are employed by them. I am not stating anything further, as readers will appreciate the truth.
