Why can’t they reschedule Madrassa timings?
Thiruvananthapuram: A National directive to all states to start school timings from 8’o clock is getting sabotaged as it will affect the Madrassa education of Muslims in the state. In general all students and parents have welcomed that decision to start the school timings early.
In a press meet here Kanthapuram Aboobacker Musaliyar (An accussed in the murder of Chekannur Maulavi) informed that Chief Minister and Educational Minister confirmed to him that, Marxist Government will not amend the time changes, if it causes difficulties to Madrassa going students.
No one even asked a genuine doubt that, why they cannot reschedule their Madrassa classes in the afternoon when school finishes early! Or was it rejected because it will disturb the afternoon sleep of their ustads?
If it was a request from Hindus,it will be easily dubbed as communal demands of fascists.. But when it comes from the most favoured religion in India, it becomes their right to learn about the religion of peace!
M A Baby the Educational Minister who says Sri Padmanabha Swami is communal and M.F.Hussein is secular stands obediently infront of Kanthapuram and assures him that whatever be the directive from the centre , what ever be the difficulties for other school going students, Madrassa timings shouldn’t be affected.
