Thiruvananthapuram: When one cannot defend the arguments they put forward while debating with any one from Sangh Pariwar on any issue , they end up in blaming Gujarat! J Devika, so called feminist intellectual and writer is of no exception.

The other day in Reporter Channel, discussions where going on about the morality of commercializing motherhood. Recently actress Shwetha Menon’s delivery were shot live for a movie by Director Blessy.

Along with many other organisations Mahila Morcha also strongly protested against the act. When J Devika one of the panellist while debating with Mahila Morcha president Sobha Surendran on the issue concluded her points by saying

“I am not interested in debating with Sobha Surendran as her party in Gujarat have rip apart the womb of a pregnant lady during Gujarat riots”

From discussing the Morality in a Film straight to Gujarat! What a best way to win the applause!

J Devika, who has been introduced to viewer’s as a Researcher only had heard one part of the story propagated by the Jihadi – Leftist media. She is still not aware about the statement made by the very Doctor itself who did the post mortem of that lady who died of burns suffered following the riots ensued in Gujarat after the brutal killing of 59 Hindu pilgrims by Jihadi mob.

India Today Weekly reported on April 5 2010

Last week, eight years after the alleged incident, Dr J.S. Kanoria, who conducted the post-mortem on Kausarbanu’s body on March 2, 2002, denied that any such incident had ever happened. Instead, he told the court: “After the post-mortem, I found that her foetus was intact and that she had died of burns suffered during the riot.” Later Kanoria, 40, told INDIA TODAY, “I have told the court what I had already written in my post-mortem report eight years ago. The press should have checked the report before believing that her womb was ripped open. As far as I remember, I did her post-mortem at noon on March 2, 2002.”

This is not the first time we saw such Hoot and Scoot by intellectuals in Television. Hindu organisations in Kerala should counter such purposeful diatribe by these intellectuals to create communal disharmony in the society by peddling lies in legal ways.

Earlier Kerala Fim Exhibitors’ Federation has threatened to boycott the movie. Kerala Speaker G Karthikeyan, Leftist follower Sebastian Paul , Advocate Jayashankar etc are the few who came out against this commercialization of Motherhood along with Mahila Morcha
