Sleepless nights for Mathrubhumi Management
Thiruvananthapuram: Mathrubhumi management & circulation department is having sleepless nights, realizing the growing popularity of Janmabhumi daily among Hindus in Kerala.
Mathrubhumi already lost thousands of subscription within two months after Janmabhumi management launched massive ground work to increase Janmabhumi circulation across the state.
The Janmabhumi management envisaged the formation of Development Committees in each district, Taluk & Panchayat across the State with dedicated and commited swayamsevaks in the lead.
Number of prominent journalists already joined in key posts including former Reuters & Star News journalist Hari S. Kartha as Chief Editor and Smt. Leela Menon as editor.
The daily is now moving towards to achieve its first year target of 1 lakh copies.
Mathrubhumi with blessing of some other dailies in the state are in a mission to sabotage the march of Janmabhumi. Mathrubhumi already started targeting individuals close to Sangh Pariwar and Janmabhumi management with their news / articles. Inside sources confirms that Mathrubhumi management formed a “task force†to deal this ‘threat’ and allotted huge amount for this purpose.
