Serious Breach of Human Right Violations – No Action against Christian Mafia Centre

highlights the Supreme Court withdrawal of Special Investigation Team appointed
by Kerala High Court to probe into the shabby deals involved there as a verdict
which cleared them of all charges!

Apart from Janmabhumi no other so called vigilant Kerala
Media dare to question such false claims by the fraud centre. On Thursday
Kerala Kaumudi daily also showed their commitment to the society by exposing
the passive nature of Authorities to take action against the Human right
violations held in the centre.

Kerala Kaumudi report pointed out that “The investigation
conducted in the presence of the District Medical Officer proved that the AIDS
patients in the Muringur Divine Retreat Centre have been subjected to AIDS drug
test “

The patients were made as Ginny pigs for some unknown drugs
bought from Goa without following any
guidelines of Drug Control Board that too without any Medical Supervision!

The Heath Department has not yet taken any action against
the investigation report submitted by the experts stating about this Human
Right violation and drug abuse in the centre. Health Minister who targeted
Ayurvedic Medicines and banned advertisement of small scale Ayurvedic drugs
used by the public since ages on behalf for the benefit of Multi National Pharmaceutical
companies is also mum in thise serious breach of drug testing on innocent
inmates in this fraud centre under Church.     

The investigation by the experts was conducted after the
order of the Director of Health Department. On the basis of this an FIR was
also registered at the Koratty Police Station. The FIR was registered after a
complaint filed by Police IG Vincent M Paul, who was the head of the special
investigation team formulated after the High Court’s instruction. In the FIR
the Divine Retreat Centre director Fr. George Panackal, and administrator Fr.
Mathew Thadathil were made the opposing defendants.

But no action is yet taken by the Police department in
connection with the FIR’s against this fraud centre. This is one of the rare
issue in which arch rivals (Only in Kerala) Marxists and Congress leaders
shares a common stand that this Fraud centre is a great Spiritual place which
gives solace to Thousands!!   

Unfortunately Human Right Commission,which took a impartial
stand in many issues is also keeping distance from the Human Right violations
taking place in this Mafia centre. Supreme Court verdict is only to nullify the
High Court decision to direct a case based on anonymous letters, But it doesn’t
mean that our Justice system should take a reverse course in this issue which
has become a shame for our society.
