Role of Media in Murderous Politics

published on May 5, 2012

KOZHIKODE: T.P Chandrasekharan – Latest victim of Marxist Intolerance. This is not the first time Ideologically bankrupt Communist’s of Kerala turn to violence to silence their political opponents. It was Hindu activists who beared the brunt of this Marxist arrogance majority of the time.

Oppurtunistic UDF has announced a Hartal across the state today to protest against this brutal murder. As expected CPM leaders are denying party’s role in the murder.Police is acting swiftly and recent supports suggest that they have already nabbed the assailants and once again shows that if there is Political will Kerala Police is still the best in the country.

The most unexpected thing is the unity among Medias expect Marxist Party Channels to condemn the incident and for the first time they have given a live coverage and minute updates about the slain local leader, investigation progress, statements by various leaders, memories of his friends and comrades Usually if there is a Hartal call media will never highlight the cause but will conduct live debates on the futility of Hartal with reports on how it affected the public and commuters. This time no negative reports on Hartal – A perfect recipe to sensationalize the whole event .

If Media has shown this courage and Political Kerala has shown the sincerity to condemn the daily attacks and annihilatory politics practiced by CPM against their opponents , If soceity has been made aware about the discrimination and subjugation faced by Hindus in their Party villages in Kannur, If Media had covered a quarter of what it did today – Marxist hooligans have learnt the lesson that there is no place for Intolerance in the mind of Kerala soceity as a whole.

There is serious reasons to worry for Hindus from this Chameleonic nature of of Media who ignores the plight of Hindus , who shows doublestandards even in the way they report Political murders . Or do they think lives of Hindu activists are sparable and that doesn’t deserved to be highlighted or covered – Can our Media Barons answer?
