Asianet News Channel boasts now of organising the “First Santa Yatra in India’s Television History”.

They even went to Vatican to get blessing from Pope. When they failed to get any senior Bishop to accompany with Yatra, their top most official and a well known Hindu hater  T.N. Gopakumar itself went to Europe with Yatra.

The cynical say falling TRP ratings Asianet News Channel is the real reason behind this sudden love towards Santa and Christmas. As per official Television Audience Measurement (TAM) rating during the last local body election result are..

To overcome the growth and popularity of Christian controlled Manorama Channel, Asianet resorted to this Santa gimmick.

They can easily fools to Hindus by arguing, they are giving importance to Hindu programs also like live telecast of Makarsankranti, Live telecast of Attukaal & Chakkulathu Pongala or telecasting Swami Ayyappan serial etc.. and in the other hand go to Dubai and felicitate hardcore Anti Hindu M F Hussein.

Will Asianet ever launch an Ayyappa Ratha Yatra all over Kerala & other parts of India during Sabrimala season? OR Will they launch a Rama Sandesh Yatra during Ram Navami ? OR a Geeta Sandesh Yatra during Sri Krishna Jayanthi OR a Cow Protection Yatra to save the life of thousands of cows killing in Kerala everyday etc..etc… ?
