Pinarai Vijayan’s involvement suspect in 10 Millions bribe case

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Its almost certain that CPM state secretary Pinarai Vijayan’s involvement in 10 Million bribe case. After disclosing the matter by LIS chairman, Pinarayi Vijayan immediately called a secrete meeting with his group leaders and decided to expel Sr. CPM leader Venugopal from the party as there were apprehensions that the VS group could raise it in the Central Committee meeting of the party presently underway in New Delhi.


 


It is reported that a serious controversy has erupted within CPM over the action against Venugopal only as there are number of senior CPM leaders involved in this bribe case.


 


Venugopal had demanded Rs 3 crore for settling the cases against LIS group, and the Rs 1 crore paid to ‘him’ was the first installment.
