Love Jihad – 45 girls still trapped in Ponnani conversion center

Love Jihad is catching the headlines again. In the last three weeks alone there were 16 cases reported to Kerala Hindu Helpline. College going girls from PUC to Post graduate level classes are reported to be the victims who were kidnapped and taken to conversion centers like those in Ponnani.

Hindu girls from Allapuzha, Vaikkom, Kayamkulam, Changanasseri, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kondotty and Kaasrgod have been kidnapped by the religious predators. The girl from Kondotty is said to be accommodated at a conversion center in Nagarkovil. From Kasrgod alone, five girls were reported to have been taken away by the Jihadi elements. The relatives found memory cards with Islamic religious speeches from the girl who went missing from Kayamkulam.

It is reported that, even filing a case with the police is not helping in such incidents. By the time the police make any move, the religious predators always would have succeeded in enslaving the victims physically as well as mentally. Shocking stories come out through the girls who were saved from the clutches of such religious predators through counselling by Hindu Helpline workers. They say, about 45 girls are still trapped at a conversion center in Ponnani.

Hindu Helpline had till date saved 3460 girls and had registered 437 Habeas Corpus petitions in Kerala. After a small time gap, this religious menace is raising its dirty heads in Kerala.
