Pinarayi (Kannur): It has been 17 years since Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s neighbour MK Raijesh left home. Raijesh, having sworn allegiance to the BJP- RSS, is a victim of sheer Left intolerance in one of the grossest forms. Left paralyzed in both hands after one of the onslaughts, he had to flee Pinarayi, taking his parents with him

An embodiment of those who stand victimized owing to their dedication towards the nationalist cause, it has been 17 years since he even stepped into his own home. “They have tried a million times to murder him. But he has always escaped their brutal attacks. However he is unable to work, with his arms left paralyzed, which resulted from one of the attacks.,” said a close relative.

In the recent meet conducted in Pinarayi by BJP Kerala unit, as a mark of protest against the spree of violence by the ruling Left, BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi handed over an amount meant for his rehabilitation. “The outside world must come to know of this,” said Meenakshi Lekhi.
