KVS : Darling of Mathrubhumi

via HK Correspondent published on February 8, 2008

Mathrubhumi daily now got a special columnist named ‘KVS’ , with a sole purpose of tarnishing Sangh Pariwar in Kerala. Most of the readers wondered initially who is this ‘KVS’, who specialized in cooking up exclusive ‘Hot Stories’ against RSS. Although the content of articles are of the same accussatory nature and nothing new, the topic headings kept changing.

The article written by ‘KVS’ on 06/02/2008 in Mathrubhumi “New Parivar Culture of RSS” is nothing but the same stories he wrote few months back against RSS & other Parivar Organizations under the title “Sangh Parivar – one step forward & two steps backward”.

Who is this ‘KVS’?

His full name is K.V.S Haridas who worked for Janmabhumi for decades and was sacked after noticing his double games. He was sacked after writing a series of articles against Sangh Pariwar as Mathrubhumi’s own correspondent while holding the responsibility as the Editor of Janmabhumi! People who know Sangh Pariwar closely, simply ignored all those utter lies published by Mathrubhumi. But adding shock to the insult, investigation by RSS functionaries found out that the traitor was within. He was leaking the internal matters of RSS to Mathrubhumi for a long time accepting monetary returns for selling out the parent institution!

Why Mathrubhumi’s attack now

Mathrubhumi management alarmed by the increase in circulation of Janmabhumi recently, now devoted a special column to create a confusing image among Sangh Sympathisers in the state. The articles are not out of corrective interests but to create an impression among existing Hindus who subscribed to Mathrubhumi that Hindu society should not rely on ‘Sangh Parivar’ to fullfill their hopes and dreams. For that blacking out of Sangh activities, protests, seva etc is being practiced along with the hate articles of KVS. 5000 subscriptions in the first day itself during the launch of Janmabhumi’s Kannur edition was enough to create sleepless nights to Mathrubhumi’s circulation division. They are now working day and night to block the march of Janmabhumi at any cost. The publishing of anti RSS articles one after another is part of this mission.

If Mathrubhumi want to compete with Janmabhumi and keep up the ethos of true journalism and to win the hearts of average Hindus, it should be done by addressing the genuine issues faced by Hindus in Kerala and not by cooking up blatant lies against an organisation revered by millions.
