Kannadi (Asianet) – anti Hindu bias

via HK published on October 29, 2006

Asianet Kannadi – a weekly news program in this segment amongst other sick/interesting subjects broadcasted a story today which started with a scene of few students reciting Saraswati Vandanam, but the commentary thereafter seemed to allude that Hindus are vitiating peace in Kerala with having religious practices in schools.

The cameraman gave a broad coverage of the photographs of Sri Aurobindo, Bharat mata, symbol of OM etc. which are anathema to the Kannadi’s team. Then they asked a writer “Is using the name of Veda Vyasa to the Schools are not communal?”. The writer answered, using the name of Veda Vyasa or any other ancient Rishes are not communal and it will uphold our rich heritage. The Kannadi team was not agreed with the writer’s opinion.

As per T.N. Gopakumar, the producer & director of Kannadi, who is a card holding member of CPM & a very close associate with AKG center, chanting Saraswati Vandanam and using the name of Veda Vyasa to schools etc.. may discourage the secular images of Kerala.

The Kannadi team must clarify why chanting of Saraswati Vandanam is wrong if the same mother goddess was invoked a few weeks ago on the occasion of Vidhyarambham (Dussera).

The commies team of Kannadi must go to UK & Ireland where they will regain their sanity whilst seeing White Anglo Saxon kids mouthing the very holy rig Vedic Gayatri Mantra.
