This maudlin comparison is akin to comparing chalk and cheese !!

One can sum up what is problematic about Husain’s art as follows:

– His excessive preoccupation with bestiality in art;

– His willfully offensive paintings of Hindu gods and goddesses;

– His blatantly offensive paintings against the country he claims to have loved, India.
Some of his paintings show women copulating with animals, such as elephants and tigers.

I suppose that such depictions are ‘aesthetic’ for our ‘SECULAR LIBERALS’ !!

Goddess Durga is shown copulating with a tiger. Goddess Parvati is shown copulating with a bull. Goddess Sarasvati is shown stark naked. Goddess Lakshmi is shown stark naked sitting on an elephant’s head. Ravana is shown sitting naked with a naked Sita on his thigh. Naked Hanuman looks leeringly at Sita.

But of course – Freedom of Expression, will wail our ‘ FRAUDULENT ‘ Liberals !!

In these many paintings all of which have not been listed here, the motive is clearly an offence against Hindu sentiment, AND, it was so stated by a Delhi High Court Judge.

In comparison, the present report is on a mere mortal, not a divine figure.
