Islamic Oppression of women Continues

Islam oppresses women, deny them freedom, employment and educational opportunities and political participation. In spite of rapid social, economic and political changes around the world, Islam, as a closed system still deny human rights and social opportunities for Muslim woman.

 

A grand Mufti in Egypt has issued a Fatwa against woman. The Mufti says “Islam forbids woman from becoming heads of a state because it would require them to lead prayer–something only a man can do”.

 

A Judge in Cairo warned that Muslim women must not sit as judges because it would be against Islamic law or Sharia as they would have to spend time alone with men. Women get pregnant and it will lower the reputation of Judges. According to the male Islamic Judge women judges are un Islamic. Where are the phony Human rights activists like Subhashini Ali, Shabana Asmi and Arundhathi Roy?
