Irreversible impact of Minority influence and the urgent need to wake up Hindu community

published on May 18, 2012

The relevance of the electronic media as an instrument of mass education is to be seen in the backdrop of the rapidly increasing power and influence of the minorities in Kerala. The subject of minority influence in our state needs no further articulation.  But the point often overlooked is that many of the CHANGES brought about by this overwhelming minority  influence are IRREVERSIBLE.

For example, the effect of the shift of ownership of land from Hindus to the Muslims will have profound impact in the social power balance. Is it possible for  the Hindus to buy back this lost land? I do not think so.

The economic dominance of the Muslim community, coupled with their natural social cohesion and its consequent political strength, has already created a dangerous situation. The rapid strides that the community is making in the field of education and the planned manner in which their manpower ( and womanpower ) is being deployed in crucial sectors like Journalism, Information Technology and Mass Media will ensure that the power to influence the masses and thus the reins of power will remain with the Muslims for years to come. Power and wealth are self perpetuating and the influence of the Muslim community will only increase in the coming years. At the risk of repeating a cliché, I have to say that the Hindus need to be woken up. URGENTLY.
To hope that a gradual consolidation of Hindu forces will be able to reverse this dire situation is wishful thinking. The price of such wishful thinking will be the socio cultural enslavement of the Hindu community for decades. Forget ‘Love jihad’ ; we are staring at an era of ‘abduction jihad’ .

We need to acquire and use the new  instrument of mass education

Urgent steps should be taken to make the Hindu community aware of this catastrophe.
Today, the Television media has become the main instrument of mass education. The impact of this media in the city-states like Kerala with deep media penetration is overwhelming. In the era of mass communication, the changes in attitude and  ideas which used to take decades are occurring within months. We need to acquire this instrument of mass education and wield it to awaken our society. WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME.
