How dare Krishna Aiyar to hurt the ‘copulatory’ rights of Minorities

via HK published on September 25, 2011

Thiruvananthapuram: Once again it has been proved that Krishna Aiyar’s liberalism were used by both Church and Jihadi’s so far only as a tool to beat Hindutva and now he is facing the ire of both Church and Jihadi’s for drafting a report which recommends couples should restrict number of Children two.

Highlights of the report

Every married couple should restrict the number of children to two.

Those who violate this to this norm should be entitled to avail of  additional facilities and benefits from the government.

A cash incentive of up to Rs 50,000 to women who marry after the age of 19 and have their first child after the age of 20.Those  who do not conform to the same will not be eligible to obtain any benefits  from the state.

Wilful indifference towards this rule and frequent violation will lead to a fine of Rs 10,000 or up to three months’  imprisonment.

The commission has also suggested that all hospitals should facilitate free abortion to ensure safety and that medically safe contraceptives should be made accessible free to married couples by the district medical officer.

Humane treatment and proper rehabilitation to victims of sexual abuse is another aspect of the commission’s report.

As if the bull saw the red, Catholic Church was first to came out in open along with Islamic scholars.

Terming the recommendations autocratic, the Kerala Catholic Bishops Council (KCBC) said that restricting the number of children was a violation of human rights. The activists of Krupa Pro-lifers alleged that the suggestions were the result of a conspiracy hatched by the agents of death. Krupa Pro-lifers director Abraham Puthenkulam urged the government not to implement the recommendations made by the commission.

The recommendations are challenges to humanity, KCBC Laity Commission secretary Jose Vithayathil observed. Laity Commission Syro-malabar Church secretary V C Sebastian also echoed Jose Vithayathil.

“The suggestions made are a humiliation to humanity and motherhood,” Sebastian said.He also said that an agitation would be launched protesting the recommendations. The Syro-malabar Church said that the suggestions were Platonic and stand against the future of young people who are the greatest assets of the country. Neither the state nor the religion has anything to do with the right of a couple to decide how many children they would have,” Syro-malabar Church spokesperson Fr Paul Thelakkattu said

This recommendation came at a time when Church are devicing plans to encourage their followers to have more children. They are giving special financial packages to those who have more than two children. Sunni Muslim leaders and other Jihadi groups have also joined in hands to protest against this. Infact alarming growth rate of Muslims have made Church to rethink their strategy and they too are now following the mullah route.

For the sane, This report and this protest are all part of a wider game plan to reassert the Minority Might. You don’t have to be a prophet to predict that this report will also become yet another bundle of file in the safe cupboards of CM’s office and will never see the day of light again.
