Financial aid to Minority Widows and Divorcees – Another glaring example of Minority Appeasement

Malappuram:  Manjalamkuzhi Ali was that controversial ‘5th’ Minister of Muslim league who took charge as Urban affairs and Minority welfare Minister despite protests from other partners in UDF. Now it is thanks giving time for this Minister to his community members.

Although Finance Minister K M Mani says , state treasury is in shambles there is no dearth of funds to finance sops to minorities. In a new scheme announced by Kerala State Government , widows and divorcees of ‘MINORITIY’ community will get 2 lakh rupees each as housing aid.

Considering double and Triple Talaqs being common among his community there will be enough takers as divorcee itself for this scheme. Out of 250 applicants , 54 are from Mallapuram district itself. The function to hand over the aid was also organised in Mallapuram district under Minister Manjalamkuzhi Ali.

No one is there to question why under secular constitution only ‘Minority’ members get special scholarships to study or special aid for housing while Hindus are getting marginalised to a corner. Blatant minority appeasement like compensation of 5 lakh rupees to an injured Muslim women while only 50,000Rs to the families of poor boys from Hindu family will never become a topic to discuss in channel rooms busy with sleaze talk shows and MMS scandals.
