Subir, Dangs : The Sarsangh Chalak Mr K S Sudarshan said that English media in India has been sold out and it is working at the behest of America.

Speaking at the “Dharam Sabha” today held at the Shabari Kumbh Mela at Subir (Dangs) in Gujarat, the RSS leader said the the English media in India was the “puppets in the hands of foreign powers”.

A report quoting Mr Sudarshan said that they were responsible for showing Hindutva and the organizations “espousing it in poor light”.

They write “anti-Hindu stuff, because they are paid huge money for that.” Naming a few English dailies, he said these newspapers could go to any extent for money. “’Therefore they publish pictures of ‘naked’ people too,” he added.

Calling upon Hindus to “counter their attack on Indian culture”, he said there is a need for the community to ‘’awaken’’ and ‘’thwart their designs’’, the report added.

According to the report about two lakh people have turned up for the mela, which began yesterday morning. The Mela will conclude tomorrow.
