Deriding Gurudevan by Marxist is Sheer Talibanism, says Vellappilly Natesan

Kollam: By Crucifying Gurudevan, the Marxists have proven themselves to be nothing but Judases, said SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappilly Natesan. Alleging that the party has displayed nothing less than Talibanism, Natesan said that the Marxist highhandedness will be countered ideologically.

In a recent address to the press, Vellappilly said that any further plans of political alliances will be carefully contemplated. “The Bharatiya Janata Party will open its account in Kerala and the reason for that would be the Marxists,” he said.

Pointing out the vehemence with which Pinarayi Vijayan justified the gross misdeeds of his partymen, Vellappilly said that there as no need for the Marxist bigwig to tender an apology.

The Marxists made Gurudevan a political scapegoat and distorted his message, under the banner of freedom of expression. His message of ‘One Caste, One Religion and One God’ was distorted to “Many Castes,Many Religions and Many Deities”. Is this freedom of expression?” sought to know Vellappilly.

Castigating the Marxist party, the SNDP general secretary said that the red brigade had ulterior motives of being the annihilators of Gurudevan and the Yogam. “Their sole aim was to exterminate the Ezhava community. The Marxists have reached a stage where they will do anything for grabbing power. However, the citizens will give them a befitting reply for this,” he said.

Foreseeing the destruction of the CPM, Vellappilly said that the Marxists need not be under the delusion that they can always have the support of Ezhavas. The SNDP will follow those they feel are eligible. The Marxists should not have a problem with that,” he charged.

The recent Sree Krishna Jayanthi celebrations indulged in by the CPM was branded by the SNDP head as ‘farce’. “Sree Krishna Jayanthi celebrations have been a part of this country for more than 5000 years. But the Marxists have chosen to celebrate only this year. This is nothing but gimmicks.”
