Dangerous Guy – Yohannan

a mission organization involved in evangelism and church planting in the
unreached regions of Asia.

The first time I heard about Yohanan was on a Canadian religious
channel in 2001, while I was channel surfing. His Malayalee looks and
anti-hindu stand and blatant lies shocked the hell out of me. Of course
he was trying to raise money ..by fooling gullible North Americans – by
claiming

 (1) there are 300million Hindus waiting to convert….just
like that (with a flick of his fingers)

 (2)Christians are oppressed and
discriminated in India

(3)India is ruled by a minority of high caste
Hindus

(4) Dr Ambedkar wanted to convert to Xtianity instead of
Buddhism -however did not do so worried about the wrath of hardline
Hindus.

I was dumbfounded to see an Indian lie…about his own
country/people…to raise money for his book and organization. He was
also one of the main guests at ex-Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s
daughter’s marraige in Tiruvalla, on 30th Dec 2006. So he has high
contacts in India and also in USA, where his American wife & kids
are based – my suspicion he will come out unscathed.
