Dalit Discrimination in CSI College

Kottayam: CSI
Christian Sabha who is fighting a legal battle for reservation for
Dalit Christians is in a fix for discriminating Dalits in their own
institution. The CSI Leadership is now busy making deceptive and
discriminatory tactics to prevent a Dalit Christian from becoming the
Principal in one of its college. Instead they are trying to install a
‘forward caste Christian’ in this post.

The
irony is that this discrimination is happening in the very college that
is bearing the name of Rev.Henry Baker whom CSI Sabha projects as the
apostle of the poor and the deprived.

The
management of this college is notorious for bestowing the KP Yohannan
with the title of a Bishop.If there was no controversy about this, even
the Swargeeya Virunnu Thanku brother who is on the run to avoid police
arrest would also have received the title of Bishop from this College.
Even the members of the church itself say that the words and deeds of
the CSI Sabha are diametrically opposite.

People
allege that Sabha is in the process of making fake documents to
validate the appointment of this junior forward caste Christian in
place of a deserving Dalit Christian in the post of Principal.

People
in the Melukavu and Kollampalli area secretly say that the
principal-in-waiting and his wife have amassed enormous wealth after
they made a number of foreign trips for ‘Suvisesham’.
