Conversion spree in Tirumala, Killed a girl

Tirumala: Since last few years we started hearing many disturbing news’s from Tirumala Devasthanam regarding the activities of Evangelical Missionaries in this Holy Temple town of Hindus.


 


Highlevel meetings of Sants and Government officials took place and the Government promised to check the activities of these Missionaries disturbing the law and order of the temple town.


 


But the conditions never improved and the latest of it is the suicide of a Student named Uma Maheswari who was studying in Padmavathi College under the university ran by TTD itself.


 


This poor girl was lured into Christianity with the combined efforts of Veena Noble Das, the Vice Chancellor and other Christian staff in Hostel. Rampant conversions are going in this hostels and the Authorities are making all arrangements for Missionaries to preach and convert inside the campus.


 
Suicide note of Uma Maheswari is concealed by the officials in fear of public anger towards the Vice Chancellor. Veena Noble Das, the Vice Chancellor of the University was always in controversy for forcing students to convert to Christianity.


 


Three other room mates of this girl are also missing since then, It is reported that they are hided in the home of a Senior Officials for counselling and to make sure they won’t come out with any accusatory remarks against conversion attempt on Uma Maheswari.

22 leaders of BJYM, AVBP and BJP leaders are arrested under non-bailable warrant for staging a dharna outside the University premises. The protestors seems to have damaged the official car used by Ms. Veena Noble Das, the Vice Chancellor of the University.
