The order to sale famous Ambalapuzha Palpayasam, the favourite offering of Ambalapuzha Sri Krishnan in retail outlet of the state-sponsored Consumerfed is the new derogatory attempt by Sudhagaran.

When questioned the propriety of selling the prasadam just like any other consumer good by a section of staunch Hindus, Hindu Aikya Vedi Leaders and temple advisory committee members, Consumerfed stopped the sale of the ‘payasam’ through its recently opened Triveni Megamart near the centuries-old temple.

This is for the second time Co-Operative cum Devaswom Minister is trying to hurt the sentiments of Hindu Devotees. Earlier attempt to sell Ambalapuzha Payasam in an exhibition in Thiruvananthapuram under Co-Operative Ministry was withdrawn, by the case filed by Temple Advisory committee against it in High Court.
