Christian cross instead of Red Cross!

Thiruvananthapuram: In a function organised recently here to bring awareness
red cross society among public, the cunning missionaries came up with a ‘CHRISTIAN CROSS’ instead of Red Cross society’s emblem cross, in which the cross is embedded in four squares.

The Meghalaya governor M.M.Jacob handed over this Christian Cross to the forest dept. secretary in the function. The emblem approved by National commitee has four equal squares put together. But it was alleged that instead of four squares, a cross was handed over!

 The timely intervention of few patriot’s helped to bought this issue infront of Public and Press.Even in the past, there were attempts to Christianise the red cross society by miscreants and this incident is also a part of the same.

This function was organised without informing the administrator of the kerala red cross society. Under the guise of office-bearers, the Thiruvananthapuram Red Cross set up a temporary commitee to organise this function.

The youth red cross state secretary, S.Ajith Kumar, joint-secretary, S.Naushad , vice-president N.C.Varghese demanded that the govt should take action against this temporary commitee office-bearers and apologise to the red cross society workers and public.
