Why the infamous 2 G spectrum Scam was not a news item for Malayala Manorama all these days?
It is surprising to note that the multi crore, multi countries involved telecom scam was not a news item for Malayala Manorama news channel and their publications. Any ordinary average reader would have thought why it is so. Finally the truth came out with a big bang!!!
The Truth
Manorama owned MRF Tyres acquired more than 400 acres of land in Perumbalur, Tamil Nadu with the help of former Telecom Minister Raja and his relatives. Raja’s wife was a Director of Green House Developers, who made the deal for MRF and they even threatened the farmers to sell the land for them. The matter is still alive issue in Tamil Nadu. Thus, Manorama is closely connected to former minister Raja and his relatives. Then, how Manorama will make news about Raja and 2 G Spectrum? The news came in NDTV and now it is sidelined.
