BBC fakes image to lie about post-godhra riot scene

Remember the most enduring image of the “post-Godhra” riots of 2002? The rioting that occurred right after Muslims threw petrol and burning rags into a train carrying Hindus and threw large rocks and more burning rags to make them shut the doors?

Here it is to refresh your memory. It is from BBC’s website. This is the image that is the pride of BBC.

Look carefully at the picture. See anything wrong? (Hint: Look at the edges of the picture of the man.) Here it is again zoomed in to make it double its size.

The horizontal and vertical lines around the man start showing up now. So here is the picture again zoomed in to make it 4 times its original size. The lines are clearer showing that the image of the man was cropped.

Notice that the people in the background don’t seem to be bothered although this is allegedly a scene of rioting. What does this mean? This means that the man posed for the picture and his image was copied and pasted onto the scene.

BBC clearly faked pictures to lie about the so-called “post-Godhra” riots.
