Strange co-incidences

Last time when the LDF Government was ‘indirectly’ helping the powerful minority institutions to get a stay order on ‘Self financing colleges act’, media had time only to report the Shabarimala controversy. Now no one knows what happened to the Shabarimala case and the real culprits Shobha John and Bichu Rehmans are all back to their normal life. We knew MA Baby had secretly met the fundamentalist Bishops across this state during the same time.

Now when the education minister MA Baby is silent on the Pushpagiri College getting the minority status (who is a minority in Kerala?) the media is again rejoicing with minister Sudhakaran’s dream of sending Yesudas to Guruvayoor. Anyway temples are controlled and looted by our ‘secular’ governments, which gives special rights and bounties to other worshipping centers. Media and party men are trying hard to destroy our temples and temple lands while secretly aligning with criminal management of Pushpagiri College. Didn’t we easily forget the event, which happened a couple of years back in this institution when a meritorious student from a poor backward class was asked to bring lakhs of rupees as donation?

Days of social justice are over long back in Kerala. Otherwise who will give such illegal authorities to a communal commission called National minority commission, whose primary aim is to divide our nation into ‘majority’ and ‘minority’. The very purpose of equality is questioned here. LDF and MA Baby would have definitely gained in this game but who will correct this injustice, which will definitely lead to apartheid against the majority? Now on, it’s very clear -You either convert to Christianity or Islam or you don’t get education. It is as simple as that though no one will ever say that due to others branding you as a fanatic! Truth is bitter and anyone who says it will be quickly branded as a ‘fascist’ or a ‘fanatic’. We had a Chief Minister who told these facts on minority bullying and we all know what happened to him. A self proclaimed ‘progressive’ writer Mr Mukundan recently accused late writer OV Vijayan for being spiritual. Unfortunately OV Vijayan was born as a Hindu. Mukunadan will never ever talk like that about a non-hindu writer. No journalist or writer will mumble a single word against the minorities. After all they need awards, fellowships and the easiest way to get a literary award in Kerala is to abuse our temple rituals, Shabarimala and Guruvayoor.

It is sad to see the land of Sree Narayana Guru and Chattambi Swamikal practicing apartheid and discrimination against the SAME communities, which produced these great men. When few good men do nothing, it will be the success of evil and that is what is happening in our state.
