VHPA pays condolences on Virginia Massacre

Condolences to the families and friends of the Victims of the Massacre at Virginia Tech University, Blacksburg, VA 


On behalf of Hindu American community of USA , Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA) expresses its deepest sympathies for the victims of the senseless shooting of 32 members of the Virginia Tech community, at Blacksburg , VA , on Monday, April 16, 2007. VHPA shares the shock and grief of the families of the departed ones, and assures that Hindus of America stand united with their brothers and sisters in this time of their need. 


On behalf of the Hindu American community, VHPA extends its deep condolences and sympathy to the families of all victims, on the tragic loss of their beloved family members and friends. We also pray for the family of Mr. Cho Sueng-Hui, a troubled 23-year old senior at Virginia Tech, who killed himself post wantonly destroying 32 precious lives. 


Last Monday’s events marked a sad day not only in the history of Virginia Tech University , Virginia , USA , but the entire world. The loss of these fine men and women has shocked everyone. 


We know that each of you is searching for some measure of understanding during this difficult time. It is our hope that you and your family find an inner place of peace and comfort that will console you during this time. May you find peace in the Hindu belief that the soul never dies.
