Vatican feels the pinch

Pope Benedict XVI has warned his bishops in the former Soviet republics to tone down their aggressive conversion efforts to bring in more members from other Christian sects.

The orthodox church in the former Russian territories have been up in arms because of the ruthless poaching on their members.

Though the Orthodox Church officially has no issues with the conversion to the catholic faith but the dwindling numbers have begun to raise alarm.

The reduction in numbers would mean less authority for the church in the day to day activities of the state in these countries.

Heavy competition between the sects have even prompted the banning of some sects like Jehovah’s Witness over false cases.

The Christian followers who seem not to have learned their lessons after years of atheist rule are now attacking one another.

A US report told of decreasing religious tolerance in these countries predominantly populated by Christians.The Vatican is desperately trying to arrange a Papal visit to Moscow.

So, Be the case Vaican or Pope never bothered to warn their counterparts in India who practice frauds and violence to spread Christianity
