Temple demolition continues in Malaysia

Islamist goverment in Malaysia is not sparing any temples left over in the nation.107 year old temple in Kualalumpur was demolished last month. 60-year old Muniswara temple in  Kuala Lumpur was demolished in June 8.


Other temples which which fell prey to Jihadis are.


Sri Ayyanar Sathiswary Alayam at Jalan Davies which was demolished Feb 22 and the idols were buried at the site.


Malaimel Sri Selva Kaliamman temple at Pantai was demolished April 17 by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall.


Sri Kaliamman temple in Midlands Estate, Seksyen 7, was demolished by the Shah Alam City Hall May 9.


Sri Balakrishan Muniswarer temple in Setapak was partly demolished and threatened with further demolition notice on May 14 by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall.


Gangai Muthu Karumariaman temple in PMR Batu Buntung Estate Kulim, Kedah, was torched by unknown criminals May 15.


Hindu Rights Action Force, a coalition of about 50 groups based in Malaysia seeks immediate intervention of other nations and UN to provide justice to minority Hindus in the nation.


Federation of Human Rights Organisations of India (FOHROI) an India-based human rights group which took up  human rights violations of people of Indian origin living outside India has already submitted a memorandum to the Malyasian high commission in New Delhi protesting against the demolition of temples in Malaysia.
