Nepali Maoists Challenge to Hindu Soceity – Indian priests beaten and paraded Naked

KATHMANDU: In a shocking incident Maoist Mob here assaulted two newly appointed Indian priests.The Communist assailants stripped them naked and paraded through the temple premises after tearing off their sacred thread.

About 10 armed Maoists with iron rods stormed to the temple while the preists were conducting pooja in the famous Pashupathinath temple.The priests were undergoing purifying rituals as part of taking over the position.ld be able to undertake the ritualistic worship from Saturday.

The priests wear these sacred threads to proclaim that they are Brahmins and have undergone traditional rituals.

Though the protesters say they have no political affiliation, locals said the attack was led by the Young Communist League.

The Indian priest vs Nepali priest row was triggered by the earlier Maoist government last year that sought to stop the tradition of hiring Indian priests for the Pashupatinath Temple.

Indian Government who is now in a mourning mode of AP CM Samuel Reddy is most likely to ignore this attack on Hindu Soceity.

Covert support of Evangelical agencies and silent support of Communist China is backing all these Anti India and Anti Hindu movements led by Communists in Nepal
