Myanmar introduces Two child norm, Ban Polygamy to tackle the Islam menace

Whether it is Mallapuram or Buthidaung or Paris High population rate is some thing common the followers of Islam share.

Inorder to tackle the High population growth among Muslims compared to native Buddhists in the state of Rakhine; Government introduced Two child norms on Muslims. The new policy also bans Sharia approved Polygamy in two Townships with 95% Muslim population in Rakhine named Buthidaung and Maundaw

This measure have been implemented following the recommendations made by a Govt. appointed commission which cited demographic changes in the area , low birth rate among Buddhists and High birth rate among Muslims the underlying reasons for the riots reported from this state in past months. The population growth of Muslims are said to be 10 times higher than the Rakhine Buddhists. In India also the Population rate of Muslims are 10% compared to others.
