Muslims bomb ancient Mar Thoma church on Christmas-eve
While the Mar Thoma Church and other Syrian Christian Churches in India are thriving and growing (thanks to harmonious links with their peace-loving, tolerant Hindu brethren), Christians and Churches being wiped out in the Middle-East (the very cradle of Christian civilisation).
This latest Islamic bombing of an ancient Mar Thoma church in Iraq is the tragic reminder of the fact that traditional Christianity is on the verge of being wiped out in the Middle-East, be it Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt or Turkey in our lifetime. The Arab Christian populations are dwindling in all these countries. The holy city of Bethlehem has already become a Muslim-majority city, with its Christian Arab residents continuing to flee persecution by heading to the US/Europe.
