Minority protection in Pakistan

EPTB is supposed to be the main Villain behind Demolition of only Krishna Temple in Lahore.

What is this EPTB?

The Evacuee Trust Property Board is a government body of the minorities affairs ministry that is supposed to look after properties abandoned by fleeing Sikhs and Hindus when the Indian sub-continent was partitioned in 1947.

Evacuee Board under Evacuee Trust Properties (Management and Disposal) Act, 1975, the EPTB is duty bound to maintain the religious shrines and provide facilities for the pilgrims in minority.

Why was Temple Demolished?

They sold this Krishna Temple to an influential jeweller for the construction of a four-storey commercial building with a basement in its place, a source in the EPTB said on Monday.

Is this the First temple demolished by EPTB?

No Hindu temple in Vehari was also demolished last year for the construction of a commercial building by EPTB, which got unnoticed or muted then.

What was India’s response?

Our ruling Secular leaders  were least bothered by this..They have more important issues to worry like beutification of Juma Masjid in Delhi..Shed crocodile tears for Palestenian terrorists..Make sure only Hindu Kingdom is replaced by Maoists..Issue more ration cards to Bangladeshi immigrants..

In between these busy chores how we expect our secular leaders to respond on the demolition of a Temple?
