Malaysia- Hindu Baiter defeated, HINDRAF leader won
Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian Hindus raise to the occassion and defeated Malaysia’s long-serving Tamil Minister Samy Vellu who took opposing stands against the genuine issues raised by Hindu Movement, HINDFRAF in the recently held elections in Malaysia.
Adding salt to the ruling coalition’s injury was the impressive victory of detained Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) leader M Manoharan, who fought on opposition Democratic Action Party (DAP) ticket from the Kota Alam Shah state seat in Selangor
Manoharan, whose organisation has been fighting against the alleged marginalisation of ethnic Indians, has been behind bars since late last year along with four other Hindraf leaders for organising the November 25 ethnic Indians’ rally.
