KHNA’s Convention Rekindle’s Hindu spirit among Kerala Hindus in US

Kerala Hindus of North America’s 6th National convention started in Washington at Sathyananda Saraswathi  Nagar (a specially prepared stage) at Crystal City. Swami Chidananda Puri lighted the Bhadradeepam to commence the convention.

First day progam started off with an excellent dance program by famous cine star Divya Unni  It was a difference experience to see  a grand Shobha Yatra  with Chenda Melam, Thalappoli, Muthukkutakal with attendees in Kerala traditional dresses.

KHNA President MG Menon, Trustee Board Chairman Raju Nanu, Convention Chairman Dr. Muralirajan spoke in the function. Swami Shanthananda, Swami Udit Chaithanya, Acharya Vivek, J Lalithambika IAS, Dr. N Gopalakrishnan, KP Sasikala teacher , Rakesh Narayanan, Jayaraj warrior attended the function.

American Malayalees have given a warm welcome to Hindu Aikyavedi State President K P Sasikala teacher. In her traditional fire brand speech, teacher has touched the mind of every individual who has attended the program and probed them to act for the Hindu society and Hindu uplifting.  Sasikala teacher has explained the current issues faced by Hindu community in Kerala in her speech. Influence on non-Hindus in Kerala politics and its fallout on conversion activities was highlighted in her speech. The crowd has given a standing ovation to her and for many it was an eye opener on the issues faced by their fellow or relative hindu’s in Kerala.

The joy and excitement was visible when everyone wanted teacher to be in their state in US to deliver a speech. Teacher has participated in many satsangh’s and Griha Samparka’s in US.

Many believe the visit by Kerala Hindu leaders will enhance the unity among the Malayalee Hindu in US.
