If good Christians like Rev. Pat Robertson or Rev. Bill Shuler are to be believed, the Haitians are suffering on account of the pact the they had stuck with the devil ,which they say is still in force , to free themselves from their French colonial masters many years ago and also for indulging in whoring, boozing, witchcraft etc. What use is material aid for those who are blacklisted by the ‘loving’ Christian god for their sins?

But all is not lost for the Haitians because it is not the case that there are no weapons in the armory of Christians to beat the devil. As such one church group is sending thousands of solar powered digital quality audible bible which can broadcast ‘ holy scriptures’ to those who are seriously incapacitated that they can’t handle ordinary bible. Imagine what discomfiture it will cause to the Devil once all of them start broadcasting the scripture simultaneously? I pity the devil.
