Documentary to depict Mata’s life

Darshan, a documentary film on Mata Amritanandamayi, will be screened on Saturday at the IFFK-2005.

The 52-minute documentary, which got entry in the Cannes festival, is directed by French filmmaker Jan Kounen.

The screening will be held at Kalabhavan Theatre at 7:45 pm.

As a travel diary deep inside the heart of India and Hinduism, Darshan focuses on the personal and philosophical aspects of Amritanandamayi’s life.


The director had the opportunity to accompany her across India, from Jaipur to Calcutta via Banares.
