‘Cultural Genocide’ – Why no Press release from AKG Centre?

World wide protests are going on across the globe against Beijing’s crackdown on Tibet. More than 100 Minority protesters were killed so far by the Communist Regime in China. Today the Chinese Army has driven through the streets of the Tibetan capital, Lhasa, parading dozens of Tibetan prisoners in handcuffs, their heads bowed.

But our Communists in India who always make a hue and cry when ever a Minority is targeted in India are tight-lipped over the whole issue. CPIM is a party that wastes no time to respond if it happened in India. They have not uttered any word on this issue. The minorities in China are steam rolled under the Communist regime in China.

The CPIM was over enthusiastic in toppling the only Hindu regime in Nepal but were silent when minorities in Malaysia were taken to task. This selective amnesia of the left in India need to be exposed.

They forget the ideals of Freedom, Democracy and Socialism when they get an upper hand in the Society. We have numerous examples for this in History and now we have an ongoing example at Tibet.
