China bans Veil to curb the growing menace of Islamic Extremism; Will India take a hint?

Western Xinijang Province in China banned wearing of Islamic veils in public, The restriction comes as China as there is increase in Islamist extremism.

Full face veils got imported to China recently as part of Saudi Wahabism extending it’s power of influence among Muslims globally.

In August, Karamay, a northwestern city in Xinjiang, banned people with head scarves, veils and long beards from boarding buses.

In Kerala, Muslims are divided into two groups over wearing veil , M N Karassery social activist and writer points out that Veil is something imported to Kerala only few years back.

Minority Commission headed by a Congress leader has taken sides with Wahabist in the state and supported full face veil and send notice to Fazal Gafoor who questioned the need for Veil in Kerala and argues that this is imposed to take Muslim women backwards.

None of the liberals who are waging a war for their right to kiss in public have nothing to say regarding this growth of Purdah Culture in Kerala.
