Uday India Weekly aims the emergence of Bharath
From the capital of India, for the past two years, a unique English weekly, Uday India, has been enlightening readers far and wide. True to its title the weekly envisages a bright and colorful rise of Bharath, our mother land.
Patriotic Indians have always felt that the English media is totally biased in projecting and analyzing the various issues that confront not only our great country but also our glorious tradition. As a result, the cream of the society, the opinion makers, have a lopsided view of our culture, heritage and traditions. A few of the pro-Indian periodicals, mostly connected with RSS/BJP, suffer from lack of professionalism and competence and as a result are not able to make the desired impact on society. Uday India fills in this gap.
In an era of ‘new age’ journalism, Uday India brings in quality journalism to the readers, week after week. Every page is filled with thought provoking and mind boggling articles, interviews, spiritual essays, etc keeping in mind the emergence of a new India.
We have seen the fall of many a magazine that came with a big bang. They all fell prey when they could not fulfill what they had promised. On the contrary, Uday India is led by a team of dedicated and patriotic professional journalists, who selflessly toil to inform the readers objectively what actually happens around the globe.
The proof of the pudding is really in its eating.  A glance at the cover stories covered by this exceptional magazine is proof of its unbiased approach to events and happenings. Interestingly, the readers from all over the country are encouraged to send reports as “Citizen Journalists” as the team sincerely believes that journalists stationed in Delhi, state capitals and leading cities do not and cannot cover India in all its dimensions. The only condition is the news and views must have relevance for a rising India.
The weekly is headed by Prakash Nanda, distinguished journalist, eminent writer and winner of several prestigious awards and honours and is ably assisted b Sri Deepak Kumar Rath, former deputy editor of Organiser, RSS mouth piece.
Says Deepak Kumar Rath, the young and dynamic editor of the weekly, “We consider that citizen journalism is the best form of participatory journalism where ordinary citizens work as reporters at the grass root level to highlight issues that are important from the common man’s perspective and then contribute in the mainstream media. We are committed to highlighting the reports emanating from the common men and women of the country, particularly from the youth, on corruption, governance, development, environment, education, arts and culture. Every issue of Uday India and its website will cover reports from the citizen journalists and provide them a global platformâ€
Reading this exceptional magazine, which is dedicated to awaken and enlighten the citizens of this great country, is sure to change the course of ones life for the better. Browsing through the articles in the magazine many of my doubts and questions simply vanished.
All patriotic minded Indians are requested to encourage and support this unique periodical, deep rooted in the sense of national pride.
