Copying, imitating and fabricating has been the Christian concept of religion.

The conce pt of virgin birth and mother-of-god, “Theotokos”, found in ancient Pagan goddesses like Astarte, Hathor, Ishtar, Isis, Zoraster, Mithra, Osiris, and Dionysus were believed to have been born to divinely impregnated virgins. The Egyptian Isis, Madonna (child Horus on her knee) was worshipped as “Our Lady”, “Queen of Heaven”, “Mother of God” and so forth.

She likewise declared “My name, my divinity, is adored throughout the world, in diverse manners,in variable customs and in many names…..” Hieroglyphic images of Annunciation, Immaculate conception, Birth and Adoration of Horus are depicted on the walls of Luxor Temple in Egypt.

It is obvious from the above that the Christians simply copied the above concepts and concocted the story of Mary and her virgin birth. Copying, imitating and fabricating has been the christian concept of religion.
