Grand ‘Newsmakers Achievers Awards 2012’ function

Mumbai : On the occasion of ‘Maharashtra Day’, a function of ‘Newsmakers Achievers
Awards 2012’ was held ostentatiously by ‘Newsmakers Broadcasting Communications’ at ‘Trident’, a five-star hotel belonging to Oberoi group, Mumbai. ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat (DSP)’, a Marathi daily newspaper working for the mission of establishment of Hindu Nation and which the anti-Hindu rulers try to crush quite often, was felicitated with ‘the Best Marathi Newspaper’ award. The award was received by Mr. Pruthviraj Hazare, the group Editor of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals from Mr. Uddhav Thackeray, the Chief Executive of Shiv Sena in the presence of Mr. Balasaheb Thackeray, the Shiv Sena Supremo on ‘Maharashtra Day’ assigning special significance to the award. This award is a tart reply to all those who are always demanding imposition of ban on ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, said Vaidehi Tamhan, the group Editor of ‘NBC’ media group.
Paying obeisance to the monument of martyrs on Maharashtra Day, the Shiv Sena Chief
reached the venue and inaugurated ‘NBC Newsmakers’, news channel. He was felicitated with ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award. Eminent personalities from various fields like films, art, politics, construction etc. were present viz. Mr. Kiran Shantaram, Keval Dhamania, Chirag Paswan, Girish Wankhede, Dheerajkumar among others.

Journalism should be such that it will save the country ! – Shivsena Chief

The Shiv Sena Chief said, “These days, the media has been sold out. They are more than willing to sell; therefore, such journalism has no future. Journalists should keep away from such things. Journalism should be for welfare of people. Have unprejudiced mind! Do not be blind in this profession!”

Smt. Vaidehi Tamhan, the group Editor of new Hindi news channel called ‘Newsmakers’ said, “There is only one daily newspaper in this country that is creating awareness among people towards Dharma and working for protection of Dharma and that is ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ Today, when nobody is wrking for Dharma among the media, mission of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ has to go on. Some people are demanding ban on ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ which is wrong.We selected ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ for giving a tart reply to such people.”

Mr. Hazare, the group Editor of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals said on receiving the
award, “Many Saints and pro-Hindu organizations have felicitated us by conferring awards; but today, when there is extreme competition in the field of journalism, we have received this award from news channel like ‘NBC’ and from Shiv Sena’s Chief Executive, Mr. Uddhav Thackeray in the presence of the Shiv Sena Chief. All these specialities are like a receipt or acknowledgement to the mission undertaken by ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ for righteous, principled and fearless journalism. This will be noted as a ‘golden moment’ in the history of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ and we are proud of it.”
