Fight among yourself don’t take it to Hindus – Christian group attacked Temple function

Aranmula: Over last couple of weeks, Fight over claim of Church property between two Christian groups – Orthodox and Jacobite is in the headlines. HK, have been puposefully ignoring the matter as it is their internal issue and after all they got a government elected by their own people.

Aranmula Parthasarathi temple Vallasadhya group has been attacked by Christian orthodox fanatics. When the devotees and snakeboat crew members were coming  towards Aramula temple to participate the ritual as the part of vallasadhya, orthodox fanatics were blocked the way as the part of their protest against the fight between two Christian groups of Kerala. As the time was getting late for the vallasadhya program, devotees requested to the church office bearers to open the way for them. Then the Christian group started to attack the devotees and boat crew members. As per boat captain Ajikumar, they couldn’t able to protect themselves from the brutal attack as it was unexpected.

As the news spread across Aranmula area and more and more Hindu devotees and other boat crew members started to come and assembled the location. Coward Christian fanatics were started running out of the location and hideout inside the Arattupuzha church. Lot of people including small children were got injured in the attack and major injured five people have been admitted in kozhencherry govt. hospital. Thaimaravumkara boat captian AjiKumar,Othara Anilkumar, Thaimaravumkara Mohanan,Othara Sunilkumar,Nellikkal Murali are among them.

Various Hindu organisations, under the banner of Hindu Aikyavedi, organised a protest meeting at Arattupuzha and condemned the alleged attack on the snakeboat crew, later, in the afternoon.

Various part of Pathanamtitta also has witnessed the struggling of Sabarimala Ayyappa devotee’s vehicles in long line due to unexpected protest and road blockage by Christian orthodox group.

HK Warns both fighting factions to keep the fight among themselves and  if Christians start targeting Hindus in the name of their greedy fight for money they will have to pay a heavy price for that.
