Christian priest calls for freedom from Hinduology

A friend from Goa has sent me a newspaper clipping relating to the inauguration of the Scholastic Year, at Panjim on July 3rd. The function was attended by Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrao, Rector Alexio Menezes. The Lectio Brevis was presented by Dr. Victor Ferrao, entitled “The Other Orientation and the challenge and opportunities for the church in goa” “Hechallenged the audience to free their minds from the captivity of Hinduology”
 
I was amazed to read about such chicanery and hypocrisy. Did the Hindus compel these converts to call their Jewish lady as Amala, Vimala, Nirmala ? Did the Hindus ever compel these converts to erect Dhwajastambhams in their churches, place Hindu lamps inside and outside their churches ? Did the Hindus ever compel these converts to copy Hindu Bhajans & Kirtans ? Did the Hindus ever compel these converts to wear sarees and dhotis ? Did the Hindus ever compel these converts to offer Kheer(payasam), laddoo, and Hindu vegetarian dishes in their churches ? Did the Hindus ever compel these converts to use Hindu names for their children ? Did the Hindus ever compel these converts to use Mangalsutra in their weddings ?
 
It is not the Hindus but the church which is copying and stealing from Hinduism. Do not complain after stealing
