Church conspiracy to Ex Communicate Congress leader as his wife is a Hindu

published on November 23, 2013

As who are keeping track of the sudden agitations and violent protests against Kasthuri Ramgan report in Kerala are aware, Idukki MP PT Thomas is against the Christian Bishops who are openly challenging the Government in the name of protest against the recommendations of Kasthuri Rangan report. People who are familiar with Kerala politics know the real reason behind this opposition of the Church. Now people are forced to believe about the efforts of certain elements to induce religious and communal feelings and hijack the real issue of environmental protection associated with this report.

One such example is the apology posted by a christian priest in his FB page. Father Johny Chittemariyil of Vimalagiri church while opposing the views of Mr PT Thomas MP, who in turn supports the KR report, wrongly mentions that the honorable MP’s wife Mrs Uma Thomas is a daughter of one Mr Shenoy. But when Mrs Uma registered her protest, the priest posted an apology accepting his mistake, The apology, apart from accepting the mistake, indirectly highlights the fact that Mrs Uma Thomas is the daughter of a Tamil Brahmin. Given the dirty communal politics the church leaders are quite often involved with, the possibility of a bad intention to whip up communal feelings against the family of Sri P T Thomas can not be completely ruled out.

Especially the highlighting of the nativity and  caste of Sri Harihara Iyer, which was not at all essential in the apology. May be this apology drama is part of a conspiracy to ex-communicate Mr PT Thomas from the politics controlled by the church, projecting that his family is only half Christian.
