Secular Sree Krishna Jayanthi; Marxist leaders running for cover

Thiruvanthapuram: The Marxist leadership is running helter skelter to cover up the mammoth embarrassment glaring at its face, in wake of the ‘Secular Sree Krishna Jayanthi’ celebration processions taken out by the red brigade, to counter Balagokulam festivities. The processions taken out under the banner of ‘Balasangham’ saw smattering participation from general public which dealt a severe blow to the dwindling party. Adding to the embarrassment was the shouting of communist slogans by the procession members.

Also, the banner of Balasangham seemed a misnomer with not a single child being part of the parade. Party leadership, under blatant denial has been stuttering about the spectacle being part of conclusion of Onam festivities. They have, however, not been able to explain the reason for organizing of ‘Uriyadi’ which is a specialty of Janmashtami celebrations.

The Marxist desperation that forced them to resort to celebration of Hindu festivals was the outcome of mass exodus of party members to Bharatiya Janata Party.
