Red Terror Returns – BJP Leader Critical

Kannur: Marxists have grievously injured a BJP member who had contested from the second ward of Malabar gramapanchayat of Koothuparambu, Kottayam. 38 year old Santhosh has been admitted to the ICU of Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. The attack came while he was on his way to the temple on the occasion of Deepavali. Sources have stated that Santhosh and his family have been under constant threat from Marxists, ever since he had filed his nomination papers.

In the recently concluded local body election, a BJP member won from Kottayam panchayat and for the first time the BJP will be sitting in opposition in a ward that had hitherto been ruled by CPM. This infuriated the red brigade and in a frenzy they set out for an attack. Locals are now apprehensive about the spree of violence that will again be unleashed by Marxists.
