Asianet news reader’s apology & One sided discussion on Saddam Hussain

In response to the letters from the viewers to Asianet ‘Open House’, Asianet’s associated editor Mr. Ravindran was answering to viewer’s suggestions and opinions.

Most of the news viewers were angry with commie newsreader Venu Balakrishan for his negative question to Mr A.K. Antony about his last resignation on the same day he took over the charge as defence minister. The viewers (except communists) were of the opinion that this question was unwanted and that a sincere journalist should not ask such a question to a person on the same day he took oath as defence minister of the country. Due to intense pressure from the viewers and Asianet management, Venu Balakrishan was forced to apologies to the viewers.

The second major issue was the discussion on Saddam Hussain in the News Hour program last week. Many viewers complained it was a one-sided discussion.

The viewers are aware what is the conclusion of a discussion if some commie leaders and pseudo secular ‘intellectuals’ came together and discuss an issue of their common interest. It was similar to a Kairali TV program where the anchor asking questions to a CPM leader and the same news reader again seeking the opinion of another person of communist background (who was supposed to be a non-political and independent person). All three discuss many matters with a positive conclusion about CPM, Saddam Hussain etc.

Similarly, during the discussion on Saddam Hussain in Asianet News Hour, they invited a Congress and Communist leader and  people with communist background like Nainan Koshi.  The commie news team of Asianet knew very well that all these peoples’ opinions would be same. Now when they started getting a number of letters against their one-side program, Asianet came up with the following explanation by their Associated editor Mr. Ravindran:

“It was not possible to say anything openly against Saddan Hussain in Kerala because the majority of the people in Kerala are against the death penalty for the former Iraqi dictator”

The second explanation given by Mr. Ravindran was:

“There are no intellectuals in Kerala who can say anything against Saddan Hussain”

Now the big question is how many intellectuals does  Asianet know in Kerala besides some communist-background people or pseudo secularists? There are many brilliant people in Kerala but Asianet does not want to call them because they will speak truth and Asianet is afraid of truth due to various reasons. There are a number of intellectuals in Kerala like Prof. Sridhara  Menon, P. Parameswaran, Acharya Narendra Bhooshan, Dr. Issac, Dr. T.P. Somasekharan, Prof. Thuravoor Vishwambharan, Dr. Sambasivan, Dr. Ajith Kumar etc… etc.  The list is endless. But Asianet viewers are yet to see these prominent people in any of their programs. We have seen a number of commies, jihadi supporters, pseudo secularists sitting in front of K.P. Mohanan and T.N.Gopa Kumar on their ON RECORD program but very few committed nationalists have sat in that chair so far. The people of Kerala must think, at least now, as to why the real nationalists are sidelined by the Kerala visual medias?

Asianet may have a simple explanation that these people are ‘Hindu fascists’ who must be kept away to maintain the TV channel’s ‘secular’ image. But the same Asianet shamelessly invites anti-nationals and pro-Jihadis to their studio. So the message very clear — If anyone supports our culture (Hindutva) he is a fascist and if a person talks against Hindutva, he is secularist and a gentleman.

It is true that Asianet news viewers will never get justice unless and until their commie news division is dismantled or till some new channel comes up and exposes the news behind Asianet news and the communist propaganda behind the Malayalam visual Medias.
